6 months later and I'm back. Oh Xanga, you are so foreign now. I couldn't even figure out how to post a new entry on you.

So, why am I on here after such a long absence? Good question. I don't have an answer.

School is crazy. Well, actually it's staring to de-craze a little...but I'd say it's still about 5/8 pandemonium.

How are things in your lives, my wonderful, faithful, VERY faithful readers?

Aunt Mary, how are things on the Eastern front?

Well, I need to get back to the craziness but it was nice writing again.

I have absolutely nothing in particular to write about...I just feel like writing.
Life. is. good. but. very. busy.
I am on a diet and losing weight. this is good. feel free to applaud now.
Saw an old friend a couple of weeks ago. Anita, so good to see your lovely face!
I need to leave for work in about twenty minutes and my work shirts are in the dryer. they will be so fresh and clean and...and...and...awesome.
Oh, I hear the garage door...Mommy's home!
Hebrews is a good book.
I am eating meatballs.
The weather is highly unusual.

Right now I'm supposed to be reading my "Racial and Ethnic Groups" book for my diversity class, but I just don't have the desire. Instead, I have resorted to writing on xanga. a dying breed of blogging.

Anyway, so as I sit here I have my bourbon chicken in the oven. I'm quite excited for it. I hope my expectations aren't too high. It would be disappointing to bite into my bourbon chicken and discover it's not so great after all. I also have decided that America overeats way too much!! I mean, I always knew that people were way too fat in this country but I'm just talking about portions. Rations one might say. It really doesn't take a whole lot of food to hold one over until the next meal. America, let's get thin again and throw our excess food to the dogs. or to the hungry people in Africa, that'd probably be a better choice.

Well, I better go read now. It was fun while it lasted.

I told my Grandpa I'd update this for him, and since I am a woman of my word...

here I go:

Let's see, I start school at both GRCC and Davenport on Tuesday. I'm actually kind of excited. I do like learning. I think the whole Engelhart side of my family feels the same way. Tonight, I have orientation at Davenport. I don't really know what to expect because I think it will be a lot different than when I went to GRCC's orientation.

This summer I have been working a lot. But you know me, I can always make time for fun too! So it's been a nice blend of both of those things.

Family, it was really nice seeing you at the reunion this year! I hope you all had as much fun as I did! Nukem should just be worked into the schedule of events I think. Also, thanks to all of our adoring fans! :)

I'm still unpacking from our trip last week to Milwaukee. It was awesome! Once again, I like learning. Especially when it is something that benefits the body of believers. I wish everyone could have been there to learn so many more amazing things about our God!

Well, I've got a list of things to finish today so I'd better get to work. If anyone is going down to visit Crystal and Dustin anytime, let me know. I'd like to tag along if possible.

Well, i gotta say, first and foremost, that life is good.

God keeps amazing me more and more every day! oh man, ya gotta love Him! He's a good guy.

I'm officially done with the semester which has been really nice. Aside from working approx. 30 hours a week, I've been enjoying the outdoors a lot. Bike riding, tennis, swimming, laying out, reading (yes, reading), bonfires, volleyball, and badminton. I've got a great tan already and it's only May!

Next weekend, my friend Amy and I are taking 8 high school girls to Michigan's Adventure for two days! It's gonna be a blast. They have what's called 'Rock the Coast' going on that weekend. Look it up and see what it's about. We've rented a hotel and everything! The girls and I are very excited! We've been planning this for months.
We celebrated my dad's birthday on Tuesday. Well, we celebrated on Monday AND Tuesday. My grandparents came over from the east side of the state and it was fun! It's always good to see them.

I'm signed up for classes next fall. This will be my last semester at GRCC and then i'm off to Davenport. Although, I will still be living at home. I think.

Also, this summer I am going to be assistant counseling at KidzKamp. One of my best friends, Katy, will be the counselor. It will be fun working with her for a week! I'm very excited!

Well, I'm off to study for another CLEP test. Outside, of course. Get out there and enjoy the sunshine too!

I wanted to take a moment and say a few things. Those few things have yet to be constructed in my head, or thought of, for that matter.

Well, I received both my state and federal tax returns this week. gotta love that.

Big events coming up: Harmony's wedding, chaperoning Spring Fling, final exams...not in chronological order whatsoever.

I must admit, I enjoy learning. This summer, I plan to rent educational films from the library...but not only rent them, WATCH them as well! Is there a certain period of history you would recommend? or maybe a certain president? I want to be well-rounded (and no, not in my figure). I just want to be a good conversationalist. It's an art, you know?!

I'm excited for things to come. I don't know what they are yet, but I know God has good things in store for me!

Eating food that is good for you is difficult. It's not that I don't enjoy healthy foods, the problem is I enjoy the not so healthy foods. I'm trying.

Well, I think I've covered everything I wanted to cover as of now.
Is it weird that I'm excited for my Medical Terminology class next semester? Well, I don't care. I am!

I am taking another CLEP test next week. I need to pass this, you have no idea. I WILL pass this!

I am typing this while I am waiting for my car to warm up so I can leave for work in a nice, toasty car. mmm.
I am trying to change many aspects of my life. I am on a diet and am doing well on it and also I am reading my Bible more now. I want these to become life changes, not just ones for the moment. I need to start exercising too. When it warms up I plan to start taking walks and bike rides again. I forget how much fun those can be!

Well, thanks for reading. I have to leave for work now. My new work schedule is:
Monday 6am-12pm
Wednesday 7am-1pm
Friday 2-close
Saturday 7am-12pm

I'd love a visitor!

My classes start up tomorrow. My books still haven't come. yikes!

the semester is coming to a close and i couldn't be more ready. however, i will miss my acting class and my classmates in it. we all got to know each other really well. we're a pretty close class.
i have my final in acting tomorrow and my final project is due in photography on monday. my other 2 classes were accelerated and have already ended.

this one's for you, grandma!

school has officially started and is now in full swing. my first class is personal finance. the teacher is funny, only in the fact that he rambles and then starts mumbling...it makes me laugh.

my second class is intro to acting....SO FUN! i absolutely love love LOVE this class!!! i wish to be in it forever!

photography (my four hour class) started on monday. i think i'm gonna like it. plus, we got out two hours early the first class which was nice. i was able to make it to the last 3 minutes of my sister's basketball game! and enjoyed her company at steak n shake afterwards.

i have a cool sister.

tomorrow i start playing on the victorious women praise team again. boy, have i missed it. i couldnt play since january because of my school schedule but this semester i purposely didnt schedule any classes on thursday mornings and i asked for thursday mornings off from work for it too. yes, i love it THAT much.

listen to this crazy schedule.
sunday: work til noon. praise team at night.
monday: classes from 10:15am-10pm
tuesday: work from 7am-1pm, teach guitar lessons in the afternoon.
wednesday: classes from 10:15am-5:30pm. praise team at night.
thursday: victorious women 8:45am-10:30am. work at 5:30pm.
friday: work from 6am-12pm. guitar lessons in the afternoon.
saturday: work from 7am-1pm.

and in between all of those crazy days, the homework must be done. CRAZZZZY! it's fun though.

well, i'm really tired so i think i'm gonna hit the perverbial hay now.
